Ben Walshe – Filmmaker and Corporate Skills Trainer

In addition Ben is a performance skills trainer facilitating workshops that put dramatic and performance skills into a business environment. Sessions include work on stage craft, film making, story telling and audience engagement.

Ben took his undergraduate degree in Philosophy at the University of Bristol and spent the following year in Bristol as a Media assistant for Oxfam. In early 2014 he graduated with distinction from the University of Warwick, with a Masters degree in Film and Television Studies. He is also an experienced personal tutor, specialising in English, Philosophy and Drama. Ben holds  PTLLS award in adult education, and is currently working towards his CTLLS.

Ben’s training in Philosophy gives him a thorough grounding in language theory and the structure and systems involved in communication. As a Media Assistant at Oxfam Southwest, Ben created and implemented media events, and generated content for traditional and new media outlets, giving him a broad overview of the different modes of communication used across a variety of different platforms.
