Dr Sarah Robins-Hobden – CPsycol, MISCP, FHEA
Sarah helps people to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. She creates bespoke personal and professional development training and coaching programmes. She is a Chartered Psychologist, Member of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Sarah works with clients at all career stages in a variety of areas related to research: from doctoral researchers to professors; professional services to ‘escaped’ academics. Her approach is centred on the individual – helping clients determine their development needs, and to choose the path and implement methods that best serve them whilst discovering their personal strengths.
What Sarah does best is meeting each of her learners where they are, helping them work with what they’ve got, and empowering them to take steps towards where they want to go next. Her programmes include elements of:
- evidence-based practice
- experiential learning
- action learning
- cognitive-behavioural coaching
- psychological principles of learning and development
- solution-focused practices
